PATCHED WinRar 5.10 Final PreActivated This new version of the popular file-compression and extraction utility offers a variety of new features, such as support for RAR 5 archives (which includes both uncompressed and solid-archive compression methods), UDF support, ZIP archive splitting, configurable sorting of files within archives, new file attributes (including date/time stamps; ASCII text; and Unicode text encoding), Unicode support for filenames and basic data operations. It also improves the multi-CPU performance on 64-bit systems. WinRAR now supports RAR 5 archives which use both uncompressed and solid-archive compression methods. WinRAR uses the best compression method for each file and archives can be mixed: you can have archives compressed with different methods. However, WinRAR is currently able to unpack only RAR 5 solid and uncompressed files. You can convert older RAR files to RAR 5 format using WinRAR 4.x or 3.90, provided such archive contains only self-extracting modules (no actual compressed data). New options have been introduced to specify the type of non-ASCII filenames, for example for Unicode filenames. There are two basic types: those which allow only ASCII characters as filenames and those which allow any character, i.e. Unicode encoding is enabled only when the archive is unpacked. Thus, if your archive contains both files with Unicode names and files with UTF-8 encoded names, you can choose how to handle them – by decompressing all files without losing data or by backing up all files except those with Unicode filenames. When saving the archive, WinRAR automatically detects which option is more appropriate and allows you to change it. However, if you want to create an archive with non-ASCII filenames and make sure that this option is enabled for this kind of files, WinRAR can extract such files from archives created with different options. WinRAR uses statistical data to determine whether a filename contains non-ASCII characters, i.e. letters of different national languages (Arabic, Cyrillic). If the data indicates that the filename cannot be ASCII text only, WinRAR does not try to extract such file from an archive and issues a warning message instead of extracting incorrect data. You can now specify the content of the "File attributes" section in the "Settings" - "File properties" dialog. In this section, you can add a date/time stamp to each file and set standard, extended and compressed attributes for files. You can also add ASCII text to a file or change an existing one. WinRAR allows you to have a filter that displays only files with a certain type of data within an archive. For filenames and other basic data types, WinRAR supports 17 different types of filters: Support for RAR 5 archives has been added; compression methods are flexible (with all compress methods supported by RAR 5). cfa1e77820
